Hamas or the PLO before them are just like the murdering\nIRA wanting to replace Israel with their own version, in this case if Gaza is\nanything to go on, an Islamic state persecuting gays, women indeed any minority and\nfree speech. \n\nThis is the problem with \u201cself determination\u201d, is the USA seriously going to hand\nthe country back to native Americans; Australia back to the aboriginals so we can\nall live under patriarchal indigenous law? That does not take into account the\ngenerations of non indigenous people who have lived there for a start.\n\nI believe in the right of anybody to live anywhere on the earth so why should I want\nPalestinians to gain sole control of one part of it. Knowing as we do that they will\nimpose a hell of Islam just like Iran. Ok Israel is not perfect but in the Middle\nEast I know where I\u2019d rather live.\n\nIslamic governments are the enemy of freedom and that\u2019s probably why so many\nmoderate moslems choose to escape to Australia. I know I have many moslem friends.\n\nThe tactics of Hamas are disgusting and I can\u2019t see how any intelligent person can\nalign with them, there is no excuse for what they did and it sours the whole free\nPalestine movement.<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I feel it necessary to say something about the free Palestine marches currently carrying on in Australia.
